Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the activities that are not permitted on Plag Detect. It supplements our Terms of Service. Breaking the AUP can result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, submit, or transmit any content that:
- Infringes the intellectual-property rights of any third party.
- Contains malware, exploit code, or any other code designed to disrupt systems.
- Is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, hateful, or that incites violence.
- Depicts or promotes child sexual exploitation or any other illegal sexual content.
- Contains personal data of third parties processed without a lawful basis.
- Is classified, export-controlled, or otherwise restricted from disclosure by law.
2. Prohibited Activities
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network.
- Probing, scanning, or testing the security of the Service without our prior written consent.
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service (e.g. denial-of-service, excessive automated traffic).
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the Service except as expressly permitted by law.
- Reselling, sublicensing, or otherwise commercially exploiting the Service without a written reseller agreement with us.
- Using stolen or unauthorized payment methods, or otherwise committing payment fraud.
- Creating multiple accounts to evade limits, bans, or free-trial restrictions.
- Using the Service from a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive U.S., EU, or UN sanctions.
3. Automated Access
Programmatic use of the Service is only allowed via our official API and within the rate limits documented for your plan. Scraping or automating the human-facing web interface is not permitted.
4. Reporting Abuse
To report suspected abuse of the Service, email support@plagdetect.org with as much detail as possible. We investigate every report we receive.
5. Enforcement
We may, in our reasonable discretion, remove offending content, suspend or terminate accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement where required. We are not obliged to monitor user content but reserve the right to do so to enforce this AUP.
